Five-a-Side Charity Football Tournament

2007 kick off........... Are you aged eighteen or above? Do you fancy yourself as a bit of a player???? Want to prove it.............

Take part in our annual Football Tournament which kicks off Saturday 10th November, 1.30pm at the Edinburgh Corn Exchange.

Entry fee is £70 per team with a minimum of 6 players and maximum of 8 players permitted.

So...... get your mates together, give your local pub team a shout or speak to your friends at work and enter as a team to take part in our 2007 Charity Football Tournament.

Our 2006 Tournament was a huge success with 26 teams taking part to enjoy a great afternoons football and raised a total of £2270 for the Hospice.

Heriot’s FP’s and Scottish Gas battled it out in the last match of the tournament which was really close.  The final score was 1 all and a penalty shootout took place which saw Heriot’s FP’s take the trophy.  Congratulations to both teams.

Player of the Tournament went to Graeme Robertson of Athletico Neebs, well done.  The fastest goal was scored three seconds into the Tournament by David Jorgenson, 203 was the total number of goals scored in the whole tournament and the least number of goals scored by a team in the whole tournament was 1.  This team will remain anonymous but we know you know who you are!!!
