2007 Edinburgh Forthside Half Marathon and Fun Run

The Edinburgh Forthside Half Marathon is the first half marathon to take place in the Capital since the 1980's.

This year, over 4,000 people took part in the 13.1 mile race, watched by a crowd of over 10,000 spectators. The run took place on Sunday 1st April, starting from Ocean Terminal and covering some beautiful Capital City landmarks.

We would like to thank everyone who ran in support of St Columba's Hospice and helped to raise much needed funds. We really appreciate the special effort you have all made on behalf of St Columba's. So far you are responsible for raising almost £2,000 with more sponsorship still to come in.

We were delighted to be one of the nominated charities with guaranteed places for the 2007 Forthside Half Marathon. We look forward to next years event and hope you might consider running for us.
