The Great Scottish Run is Scotland's biggest running festival with 2 events taking place on the same day. The main events are the 1/2 marathon and the 10km run. The third event is the Junior Run, a 3km Race through Glasgow Green, for 9 -17 year olds which takes place the day before, Saturday 1st September.

The race takes runners past some of the city’s most famous attractions, and features the hugely popular run over the Kingston Bridge, before finishing in Glasgow Green.

All entrants receive a race certificate, t-shirt and medal. Closing date for entries is August 17th.

Runners have to be be over 17 to run the 1/2 marathon and over 15 for the 10 km.
